Fintan O’Connor is a twenty-two year old, London based filmmaker and recent graduate from Bournemouth Film School, where he specialised in directing and producing. Having grown up around the theatre world, Fintan was able to observe and learn from a number of creative practitioners throughout his education and was exposed to the craft of performance and storytelling from a young age which quickly developed into his passion for filmmaking.

After working on several smaller scale projects at university, his latest film ‘Blue Monday’ marks the first time he has had the opportunity to direct a cast of mostly professional actors, a collaboration which he thoroughly enjoys and highly values.

Aside from directing, Fintan also has experience of various roles within the production department and is currently pursuing entry level positions there to build his industry network.

Fintan periodically also takes on work in the Theatre business as a video designer / videographer with projects ranging from operas to ballets and plays.
